Radiesse injectable dermal filler is a unique product in that it is made of calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres suspended in a water-based gel rather than the other dermal fillers available which are made of hyaluronic acid gel. The unique composition of this dermal filler product makes it an ideal filler for hollowed temples, prominent nasolabial folds, lines and wrinkles on the lower face and age-related volume loss in the hands. Radiesse has been offered by Dallas, Texas dermatologist Dr. Adean Kingston for over 15 years and is great for men and women who love the long-lasting results (12 months or more) of Radiesse. Radiesse has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to safely contour your facial features and improve the appearance of age-related volume loss in the hands. It can be used in tandem with other injectables (wrinkle relaxers and fillers) for a customized personal treatment plan. Look several years younger and boost your confidence with Radiesse injectable wrinkle fillers at Adean Kingston, M.D., PLLC in Dallas, Texas.
Men and women who are in good health and have mild to moderate facial lines and wrinkles are great candidates for Radiesse injectable treatments. Individuals with thin or fragile skin are not ideal candidates for Radiesse injections. This unique dermal filler can treat hollowed temples, smile lines, marionette lines, pre-jowl folds, chin wrinkles, and lines in the corners of the mouth. Radiesse is also safe to address age-related volume loss in the hands to make them softer and younger looking. You should not have this injection if you are allergic to lidocaine or any ingredients in the product. Make sure to tell Dr. Kingston about any allergies (severe or not) and any medical disorders or conditions. If you are breastfeeding, pregnant, may be pregnant, or are considering pregnancy within 1 – 2 years, you should not use Radiesse treatments.
"Great, as always!"- E.W. / ZocDoc / Jan 16, 2019
"This is my first Yelp review EVER, that's how good Dr. Kingston is. I was a new patient and have suffered from chronic acne for over a decade. I printed the "New patient form" and filled it out before I arrived. I wasn't in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes. It's the most beautiful doctors office I've ever seen, all windows, clean, and very easy parking. She came in quickly and immediately questioned me about my problems. Then she did a thorough teaching session about my treatment plan, making sure I didn't have any questions before I left. And who said she doesn't look like the pictures on Yelp? WHAT?! She's even more beautiful in person, even though that shouldn't make a difference. The desk lady was incredibly nice, the nurse was incredibly nice, and obviously so was the dr. The entire appointment took less than 30 minutes in and out. I was so nervous to come to the doctor about my skin, thinking she would tell me she knew more about my condition than I did. (I've had this problem for over 10 years. I know what my skin likes /dislikes) She listened to me. She educated me. God bless this Dr!!!"- K.K. / Yelp / Dec 04, 2019

"fast and easy! Very nice staff."- Anonymous / ZocDoc / Dec 03, 2019
"Office is so charming, making a trip to the doctor's office that much more appealing. Staff is extremely pleasant and welcoming. Parking is easy and free on surrounding streets. Got a photo-facial done by Mia, who took the extra step of walking me through the whole process as a first timer. It's a great way of removing sun-spots on the face. Already seeing great results! Highly recommended."- J.P. / Google / Nov 28, 2019
Radiesse injections take place in one of the treatment rooms at Adean Kingston, M.D., PLLC after a topical numbing agent is applied to the cleaned injection site(s) to help reduce discomfort during treatment. Using a small needle on an ultra-fine syringe, Radiesse will be injected into the desired treatment areas and massaged until smooth and then the procedure is complete. A cold compress can be applied to help alleviate swelling and bruising.
What to Expect
After your treatment, you may see some redness, bruising, and swelling. This is common and should only last for a few days. These side effects can usually be concealed with makeup. If the side effects last longer or seem excessive, please do not hesitate to call Adean Kingston, M.D., PLLC. Most patients see some results immediately with even better results developing over time. Radiesse tends to last longer than some of the other fillers — around 12 or more months. You should talk to Dr. Kingston during your consultation about when to schedule your next treatment to maintain your results.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Radiesse cost?
The cost of Radiesse depends on the amount of product that's needed to attain your desired goals. At your first visit, we will discuss your concerns and estimate your costs. Be sure to ask us about our specials and combining Radiesse injections with other popular cosmetic procedures available in our office.
How does Radiesse compare to other fillers?
Radiesse is temporary but offers long-lasting results compared to other dermal fillers because of its ability to stimulate collagen production in the body. Radiesse is the only filler made of calcium-based microspheres, as the other dermal fillers available in the United States are made of hyaluronic acid. When you meet with Dr. Kingston, she can discuss the main differences between Radiesse and other products to help determine which injectable is best for you.
What are the possible side effects of Radiesse?
The most common side effects are mild redness, bruising, and swelling, but these are short-term symptoms and should dissipate in a few days. If you have any long-lasting or severe reactions, call our office as soon as possible.
What other procedures can I combine with Radiesse?
Many patients decide to combine another skin treatment or injectable with Radiesse. The most common combination is Botox or Dysport with Radiesse, but Dr. Kingston will be happy to discuss what procedures can be included with your treatment plan during your consultation.
Are Radiesse injections painful?
Like any procedure that requires a needle, there is minor pain at the moment of injection but it is tolerable because the treatment area is previously numbed with topical lidocaine.
