Ideal candidates for Revanesse Versa and Lips+ injection treatments are men and women who are wanting to smooth lines, restore volume to areas of the face and/or plump lips. Revanesse Versa is especially beneficial at decreasing the appearance of nasolabial folds, also known as smile lines or laugh lines. Revanesse Lips+ is the ideal filler for plumping lips. Candidates for Revanesse Versa and Lips+ should not be pregnant or breastfeeding, have scars at the intended injection sites, be allergic to hyaluronic acid products, or have a history of hypertrophic scarring or keloid formation. During your consultation, we will be able to assess whether or not you are a good candidate for Revanesse Versa or Lips+ injections.

Prior to your treatment session, Dr. Kingston will meet with you to understand your desired aesthetic goals. Dr. Kingston or a member of our team will be able to answer any questions you may have about the treatment process before it begins. Once a treatment plan is discussed and created, you will be encouraged to relax while a topical anesthetic is applied prior to the injection(s) to minimize discomfort. The entire process is relatively quick, lasting about 15 – 20 minutes. Once the treatment is complete, you will be free to return to your daily activities.

Following the treatment, you may experience some slight redness, bruising, and/or swelling that can be eased with a cold compress. For any pain, over-the-counter medications, such as Tylenol, can be taken. Side effects typically subside within a week or so, depending on the area of injection. Most often, patients see results within hours of their treatment. Results can last up to six months before another treatment is needed; however, this may vary from patient to patient. Although it is a rare occurrence, if you experience any long-lasting or abnormal side effects, you should contact our office immediately.
